- Been involved in swimming, coaching and administrator for 41 years, I have been coaching for 24 years

- Swam for Florida State 1979 - 1983

- NCAA Qualifier, Senior National Qualifier, 1979-1983 , Masters National Champion, World Champion and Masters World Record Holder

- 1984 Olympic Trials 100 Butterfly

- 12 time High School All -American-1976-1979

- Coached: State Champion, National Qualifiers, Olympic Trials Qualifier in the 10K Open Water, and 1500 freestyle.

- 4 years as assistant swim coach at Canton McKinley 1999-2003

- 2004-05 NEAC conference women's coach of the year

- 9 years as assistant coach CCS swim team

About Cathy:

- USA swimming coach for 14 years

- CCS swim coach for 5 years

- Assistant McKinley high school begining 5th year

- Beside swim team I oversee the CCS Elementary-Learn-To-Swim program for the 5th grade

- Prior to working for Canton City I was the aquatic director for the Downtown YMCA and taught or coordinaated many aquatic programs.

- I live in North Canton with a son attending Kent State.

- My two dughters are CCS swim team alumni who are also OSU swim team alumni.

Coach: Mike Studeny

About Mike:

7th year as coach for CCS Swim Team

- Member of The Animal Behavior Society, Volunteer to the Stark County Parks, involved with various other societies on the protection of natural forests and wildlife.

- Graduated from Canton McKinley High School with the class of 1999

- Was a 2 year swimming letter winner and was placed in the Canton Amateur Sports Hall of Fame as an All-County Goalie in Water Polo

- Volunteered with and coached Special Olympics.

- Recently married to Emily who is a teacher at Coventry Local Schools

- Works for The Ohio Division of Wildlife and the Division of Natural Resources.

Coach: Bill Sterling

- 38 years in the insurance business (underwriting,sales and management).Professional designations:"Chartered Properity and Casuality Underwriter";" Risk Management";"Certified Insurance Counsellor".

- 34 years coaching experience at Toledo, Canton and North Canton Ys. and the Branin Natatorium

- Inductee of Stark County Swimming Hall of Fame
